Why Ashneer Grover Said " i 'ii be last man standing ", know the story behind .

Ashneer Grover, the embattled co-founder of BharatPe, currently under investigation for alleged fund misappropriation under the guise of recruitment services, recently shared on social media on November 15th that he anticipates being "the final person remaining" once the controversy subsides.

"I will remain standing when 'BharatPe,' Sequoia (well, they've already concluded their business in India), unqualified press individuals, and 'Twitter' critics have all faded away! Remember my words!! (sic)," Grover mentioned on X, previously referred to as Twitter

Earlier today, Mint disclosed that based on its investigation, the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of Delhi Police asserted that Grover and his family utilized backdated invoices to divert funds. The investigative agency also highlighted its inability to track numerous companies that received vendor payments from BharatPe, according to the report.

In his social media update, Grover cited the EOW's statement indicating that the investigation of the case "is in its preliminary stages" and that they are still awaiting and analyzing responses from different authorities involved.
Additionally, he referenced the investigating authority's statement indicating ongoing investigations into the allegations raised by the complainant in the current case.

However, as per the publication's report, the EOW has adamantly objected to the plea for case dismissal filed by Grover and his wife, Madhuri Jain Grover. "Considering the seriousness of the offense and the ongoing investigation, the petition filed by Ashneer and his wife for case dismissal is vehemently opposed and may be rejected in the pursuit of justice," stated the EOW.

This case stems from a complaint lodged by BharatPe against Grover and his family members last year.
